This new system will help provide a strong foundation for all our procurement processes while still giving us the flexibility to grow and change as new challenges arise.
Why will the Arbia Buying system be helpful for Argos USA?

What we hope to accomplish with the Ariba Buying system.
We hope to:
- Implement the Procure to Order process for the MRO Category (Indirect).
- Increase control of our spending.
- Increase productivity of the procurement area.
- Gain visibility and predictability of expenditures.
- Reduce costs and risk.
- Initiate the transformation and adoption of suppliers focused on Catalogs for goods and services.
- Identify categories that are carried by P-cards that could be managed from Ariba catalogs.
When will we begin using Ariba Buying?
Not until the fourth quarter, but that does not mean we cannot be excited now!
