The President’s Community Safety Award is open to all companies operating a mine or processing facility in the State of Alabama and is intended to spotlight a company that has expanded their culture of safety to include their local community. The Argos Roberta Cement Plant’s emergency response training partnership with the Calera Fire Department has been selected as this year’s award winner!

Our Roberta team believes workplace safety and health are a demonstration of respect, and as such are an essential component in all aspects of our business.  This award is a testament to  our team’s ongoing and active interest not only in the safety and health of our sites, but that of our customers, suppliers and other stakeholders.
