- The Argos Roberta cement plant will officially transition to 100% EcoStrong PLC production by Q2 2022.
- As part of accelerating their transition to EcoStrong PLC, the Argos Newberry cement plant is targeting 100% conversion by October 2022. The Harleyville and Martinsburg plants also are rapidly switching their production to EcoStrong at a current pace that will put production roughly at 60% and 50%, respectively, by the end of 2022.
- A total of seven Argos cement terminals will also be converted to 100% EcoStrong PLC during 2022.
- The company expects all its production facilities to convert to EcoStrong PLC in 2023 to support its customers with their sustainability efforts.
- Argos’ ready mix business is already successfully using EcoStrong PLC in the Carolinas and Florida. Moreover, Argos plans to use EcoStrong PLC at all locations in the eastern US before the end of Q2 2022.

Additionally, Argos is excited to announce its continued success with its plans to convert all production facilities to PLC Type IL by 2023 to support its customers with their sustainability efforts. The Roberta plant, located in Alabama, will officially transition to 100% EcoStrong PLC production by end of Q2. The Newberry plant, located in Florida, will be 100% converted to PLC in October 2022. The Harleyville plant, located in South Carolina, and Martinsburg Plant, located in West Virginia, have already begun to transition their production and will reach roughly 60% and 50% conversion, respectively, by the end of 2022. In addition to these cement plants, seven Argos cement terminals will also be converted to 100% EcoStrong PLC by the end of 2022.
