WHAT DOES THIS BUSINESS UNIT DO?
At Trading, we are engaged in the international Trading of commodities related to cement production, from bulk and packaged cement, clinker, and aggregates to countless raw materials involved in our industry’s processes.
It operates two offshore companies with a team of 27 co-workers:
- CI Del Mar Caribe (BVI) Inc.
- Transatlantic Cement Carriers, Inc.
What does it manage?
Integrally, the following areas:
- Exports from Zona Franca Argos.
- International supply chain.
- Maritime transportation.
- Negotiation and supply of cement, clinker, aggregates, SCMs, and MPs.
- Global corporate purchasing.
- Technical development and process innovation.
Our fleet
Two owned vessels: We own 50% of Trans-Atlantic Shipmanagement (TAS), a joint venture established between TACC and SMT Shipping, and are responsible for its management.
