The Herbert C. Bonner Bridge carries N.C. 12 over the Oregon Inlet between Hatteras and the Bodie Islands. When it had exceeded its design life and was ready to be replaced, Argos partnered with the construction team to provide SuperCem slag cement and Portland cement.

The new bridge, which uses high-durability concrete, stainless reinforcing steel and other cutting-edge engineering features, is better able to withstand its coastal environment and provides more options for navigation underneath it. It also has a new lifespan of 100 years. The bridge opened to traffic in February 2019.
