To help increase roadway safety, the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) performs inspections on commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) and ensures all parts and components are in good working condition.

Every summer, the CVSA implements a 72-hour period of intense truck inspections — a period of three days when DOT officers and state troopers stop and examine hundreds of vehicles and drivers for violations. Its purpose is to encourage and promote commercial driver and CMV operation safety. Since the event began, more than 1.5 million roadside checks have occurred in North America.

Our ready mix trucks are no different. Any of our drivers could be stopped and have to submit to one of these tests. Fortunately, Argos always puts safety first! We have had multiple drivers across our USA region receive perfect scores on their DOT tests over the past few months. We want to make sure our these drivers get the recognition they deserve

Argos Houston Baytown driver Gregory Evans.

Argos Houston Bayport driver Johnny Andrews

Argos Oxford  driver Richard Jolly

We want to thank all of our drivers who represent Argos everyday and wear our logo with pride!
