We worked with Popa Pools in Florida to build a pool for a young man who was disabled during his service to you and our country with the United States Marine Corps. The pool will be used for aquatic therapy that improves his quality of life and rehabilitation purposes.

Before construction was finished, he traveled 40 miles for aquatic therapy, however the process of moving him and traveling long distance for therapy was painful and tiring on his body, and has had to be discontinued. The process of getting the pool approved through the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Hardee County building department has taken over 2 years since the pool was first proposed. We are so happy that this project is officially ready for use!

For our part, Argos was more than happy to donate all the concrete needed for this project, around 30 yards. The pool itself has a built-in wheelchair ramp so he can resume beneficial therapy at his own home.
