We are proud to announce our Atlanta grinding facility, and Florida Ready-Mix Division were recognized with the “Green Plant Award.”
This is the third year Cementos Argos has highlighted excellence by evaluating high safety standards, environmental impact, community engagement, and overall plant operations. Of the hundreds of locations and plants across the United States, Central America, the Caribbean and Colombia, only three are selected for recognition each year.
On Monday, April 25th, Kyle Harrison, Atlanta Cement Plant Manager, was joined by Camilo Restrepo, Argos USA President over Cement, Juan Vanegas, Supply Chain Senior Manager, and Travis Reed, Safety, Environmental, and Communities Senior Manager, accepted the “Green Plant Award” for our Atlanta Cement Facility. Division Managers Matthew Carcaba, Clark Vandervander, Ross Adolph, Robert Marion, Quality Director Michael Davy, Richard Edwards, President of Argos USA Ready-Mix and People Senior Director Juan Mercado joined Florida General Manager Scott Hossenlop in receiving the award for their division.
