The Continuous Improvement (CI) team has officially launched three pilot projects in the Design & Pilot stage. This is a 20-week effort designed to implement pilot projects identified in Wave Zero completed earlier this year.

Wave One will include the following projects from the CMT and RMX businesses:

  1.   Cement MRO Inventory Reduction
  2.   Ready-Mix Receiving, Consumption, and Inventory Reporting
  3.   Cement Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Process Maturity Assessment

The primary purpose of these pilot projects is to improve the lives of Argos employees at work, enhance the quality of daily work tasks, reduce non-value-added activities, and drive process simplification and standardization across our organization. These efforts will improve our existing operational capabilities and streamline decision making during daily operations to drive enterprise value and ensure a sustainable future for the employees of Argos USA.

We have assembled core teams and subject matter experts for each project with representation from key departments of the Argos business to support and drive process improvements for our colleagues.

The pilot projects are currently in the Define Phase which will run through early July. We will continue to provide updates on project progress, wins, and other significant milestones in the upcoming weeks and months. We are in this together and look forward to building a stronger and better Argos organization.

Best Regards,

CI Leadership
