In line with the Sustainability Strategy, we focus our actions on creating social value for clients, communities and society in general through acting responsibly, sustainably and carefully with the environment. These are some of the actions that we have been implementing in the Atlantic within the framework of this purpose:

1.   Since 2021, We offer low-carbon cements and concretes that are part of the sustainable product portfolio, some of which are produced in the Barranquilla and Soledad plants.
2.   These two plants contribute to the circular economy by incorporating byproducts from other industries in the production of concrete. In 2023 more than 3.500 tons of coal ash from electrical generators were consumed in the production of concrete, which meant a replacement of cementitious material in the mixture of 2,4%.
3.   The same operations They recycled more than 55.000 m3 of water in the same year, Enough quantity to supply 270 families for 365 days.
