After 40 years in the industry, our president of USA Operations, Bill Wagner, has decided that it’s time to retire to spend time with his family and pursue other interests. We are grateful as we look back at all he has helped us as a company achieve. Bill will serve as a consultant assisting Argos USA to continue to build our legacy as one of the country’s most innovative and sustainable cement and concrete companies.
With his ability to create operational efficiencies and implement strategic initiatives, Bill has played a vital role in the expansion and consolidation of Argos’ USA Region operation. His extensive knowledge of the business, combined with his ability to leverage his team’s talent, has allowed Argos to position itself as one of the leading companies in the areas where we operate. This leadership has enabled us to provide our customers with the technical expertise and innovative solutions to deliver on some of the largest and most important projects built in the Southeast United States.
Born in Columbus, Ohio, Bill holds a degree in industrial management from Georgia Southern University and has also attended continuing education programs through Stanford University in Palo Alto, California, and Ashridge College in Berkhamsted, England.
Bill has served on numerous committees for industry organizations, including the boards of directors for the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NRMCA) and the Ready Mixed Concrete (RMC) Research and Education Foundation.

- Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia (200,000 cubic yards)FedEx Distribution Hub in Cypress, Texas (100,000 cubic yards)
- Methodist Hospital in the Texas Medical Center, Houston, Texas (70,000 cubic yards, 55,000 of which were our Value-Added Specialty Products)
- Facebook’s Georgia data center in Covington, Georgia (250,000 cubic yards)
- Florida Department of Transportation’s Gateway Expressway near Tampa, Florida
(estimated completion 2022; 200,000 cubic yards)
