We are excited to welcome Simon, who was born in England and is a British and American citizen, and who has had a long and successful international career in the building materials industry with executive roles in top-tier companies in different countries around the world. Simon has been living in the United States for years and is currently based in Atlanta.

Simon graduated from York University in Economics. He has a postgraduate degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Manchester and a postgraduate degree in Marketing from the University of Salford.
He began his professional career in financial consulting services and joined our industry in 1996 at Hanson Building Materials. Later, he worked for Royal Building Products, a company belonging to the Axxiall group, and for Westlake Corporation. In 2017, he was appointed as President of Oldcastle Infrastructure Products, a CRH company, one of the largest manufacturers of products and materials for construction worldwide. His last role, before joining Argos, was President and CEO of GCP Applied Technologies, a company listed on the NYSE. There, he executed a successful business transformation to increase the company’s profitability and value, and subsequently led its sale to Saint-Gobain.

We see Simon not only as a professional with proven experience and track record in our industry, but also as a great human being and an empathetic leader committed to building better companies, countries, and communities, based on human-centered leadership that strengthens corporate culture and the development of teams and employees.
We are sure that Simon will fit very well with the Argos culture.
