Now that 2021 is officially underway, we are ready to focus on the year ahead. We must create ambitious goals for our company and ourselves in order to continue striving for excellence. That is why we are working to implement OKR’s in every part of our company.

What Does OKR Stand For:

Objectives and key results. It is a goal-setting framework that helps us define goals — or objectives — and then track the outcome.

What Are Our OKR’s For This Year:

1. Increase profitability through efficient use of capital
2. Drive health and Safety as key leverages of sustainability
3. Play offense in the market and gain profitable volume
4. Strengthen our relationships with customers making it easy to do business with us
5. Improve operations to make our business and processes efficient, reliable, and consistent.
6. Prepare and develop Argos US for emerging opportunities

What Does This Mean For Me:

Now that you know what our OKR’s are for the year think about how YOU can help us achieve these goals. Reflect on:

• What our mission and strategy is?
• Do we measure what matters?
• What do we report on that we need to really focus on most?
• How do we align the Company OKRs?
• What are our KPIs that we need to really focus on?
• Are there key projects we need to deliver?
• Are we combining leading and lagging metrics?
• Have we avoided vanity metrics?

With these in mind, create your own OKR’s for each quarter. Meet with your team and supervisor, and create OKR’s and create a plan together.

We are sure that if we all implement OKR’s and work together, we will have a very productive year.
