Fall is officially here ya’ll and we are less than 60 days away from November 30, the end of the Argos Live Well for 2021. What does this mean for you? It could mean a lot if you are an employee enrolled in the Argos medical plan. You may have a $50 surcharge taken out of your paycheck every month next year, or you could be missing savings of up to $600 off your 2022 medical contribution.
“What?!? How can I avoid this?” you may be asking yourself? It’s easy, login to the Argos Live Well platform, create an account if you haven’t already done so, and ensure that you have completed the below two things:
Every employee on the Argos medical plan MUST complete the Tobacco Affidavit, attesting that you are Tobacco-Free and/or terminate the Navigate Tobacco Cessation Program by November 30, 2021. Failure to do so will result in the employee paying a $50 monthly surcharge in 2022.
You can find the Tobacco Affidavit on the home screen once you log in to Argos Live Well.

Click the words “Tobacco Affidavit,” then attest:
“I am not a tobacco user,” and submit your affidavit. By completing this task, you no longer will be subjected to paying the $50 monthly surcharge in 2022. OR
Go to the Challenges tab and then click the Video Courses tab.
Click the Join button on the 3rd course, the Tobacco Cessation 90 Day Course, to get started. (As long as you watch all the required videos before November 30, 2021, you will complete the course on time)
Then go back to the Tobacco Affidavit button and attest that “I am a tobacco user and attest that I have completed the Tobacco Cessation Video Learning Course.”
By completing this task, you no longer will be subjected to paying the $50 monthly surcharge in 2022.
Saving money on 2022 medical contributions is easy; just complete the below activities:

It’s not too late! Complete both tasks listed above to set yourself up for success in 2022.
Remember, these must be completed no later than November 30, 2021!
