As part of the Florida Concrete and Products Association ( FCP&A), Argos works with local colleges to help educate students on the many processes that go into manufacturing cement and ready-mix.

Orlando Sales Representative Kevin Gross is a member of the association’s education committee, and for the last five years, he and other members of his team have partnered with Seminole State College to host a tour of our Carder Road Plant.

They walk the students through our process, beginning with our logistics process for ordering materials, scheduling deliveries, and shipping concrete. The group then delves into our quality assurance lab, where our technicians discuss the technical side of the concrete, breaking a test cylinder, and discussing results. Finally, they finish at our batch plant, where they observe a truck being loaded and a driver washing down their mixer.
