Argos is continuing to promote and expand PLC Type IL production and adoption.This past month, a special training was held at our Martinsburg plant for our Mid-East and Mid-Atlantic cement sales team to go over PLC Type IL specific information. This training helped better prepare our team to continue to promote PLC IL

adoption for all of our customers, an important step in our climate change initiatives. A special thank you to Tim Almany, Bill Norris, Clay McCabe, Chris Liner, Steve Wilcox, Bill Krojlien and Keith Maddrey for leading the training.

Argos portland limestone cement Type IL is a blended portland limestone cement that works equally well with supplementary cementitious materials, like fly ash or slag to reduce the carbon footprint of concrete even further. Argos PLC Type IL cement meets ASTM C595, AASHTO M 240 and ASTM C1157 GU.
