Our Charleston team is working on a really COOL project in Charleston, South Carolina! Unlike other distribution centers we have worked on, Camp Hall Polar Storage requires special attention in its construction to ensure the building can maintain a high level of climate control.

The design features shell building construction housing 6-inch insulated metal panel walls for freezer areas and will feature tilt construction for the cold dock and office building. The final project will rest on a 3-inch mud slab and 6-inch insulation with a 8-inch reinforced floor slab ensuring stable support.
Highlights:
- The finished building will total 200,000 Sq. ft. of space.
- This project is strategically located in Ridgeville, SC just 30 minutes from Charleston and will take advantage of its proximity to the Nation’s fourth-busiest container terminal.
- This project will feature tilt-up construction where a series of concrete panels tilted up into place to form a building’s exterior wall.
