On September 15th, the SCMA and its members traveled to Clemson University and presented Cooper Banks with the 2022 SCMA Dr. Dick Bennett Engineering Scholarship.
Mr. Banks was presented with a $1000 scholarship and award. The SCMA would like to thank Dr. Laura Redmond, Assistant Professor in Glenn Department of Civil Engineering for her support.
James Cain, President of the SCMA presented the scholarship and award. Also present was Rick Robarge with Argos, Tod Cox with Adams Oldcastle and Dr. Redmond.
Mr. Banks is also the winner of the 2022 Clayford T. Grimm P.E. Student Scholarship through The Masonry Society.
He will be traveling in October to Colorado to accept this scholarship.
Argos is a proud member of the Southeast Concrete Masonry Association (SCMA), represented on their board by one of our Major Market Manager, Rick Robarge.
