We are assisting in the construction of a drainage project that will reduce the frequency, severity, and duration of flooding of the Spring and Fishburne basins in Charleston, South Carolina, and its surroundings.

This is a project of vital importance for the community. According to the National Weather Service of the United States, this area is flooded by hurricanes and rains almost eight times. More than the average for the country.

Once the project is complete, the water will be able to move from the surface through a network of pipes, vertical drop shafts, and deep tunnels to a pumping station, where it will eventually flow into the Ashley River.

We are currently supplying concrete for the fourth of five stages that make up this project, which is expected to be completed in 2023.
