The management of our Shipping Department has enabled us to add a new vessel to our fleet to optimize the cement export route from the Argos Free Trade Zone to the Antilles. This addition is an essential step in our expansion and continuous improvement strategy.
About the NACC STAR:
It is a Madeira-flagged vessel built in China in 2009. In two holds, it can store up to 6,600 metric tons of cement.
Adding the MV NACC STAR has improved the flexibility of our fleet, allowing us to better adapt to market fluctuations and our customers’ changing needs. This flexibility is essential to keep us competitive and agile in a dynamic business environment.
Among the benefits this vessel brings to our international supply chain:
- Improved frequency and timeliness: with greater capacity and speed, we ensure that our deliveries are made promptly, strengthening our commercial relationships.
- Reduced costs: The efficiency of the MV NACC STAR, as a more recently built vessel, will not only optimize transportation costs but also generate significant savings, providing a promising outlook for our financial performance.
- Increased sustainability: by using more advanced technology, we reduce our carbon footprint and align with our environmental commitments.
In summary, adding the MV NACC STAR to our fleet positions us favorably in the market, resulting in the continuity of quality service to our customers.
